I think those are guy wires and/or a mirage (or remnants) of his other 2 antennas as seen in a 2012 google image.

I visit his city at least once every year and am tempted to reach out to see if I could talk him into a tour. Dude is an absolute beast - I've only picked up 15 countries on 160.
