Also curious why solar, usually for us its way easier to just carry a tiny generator, lighter than batteries.
We only bring solar when we want to run low wattage devices during the day at camp-outs.
And that's 40* watts from the wall, tested with a kill-a-watt.
Very slick professional looking setup though.

Deep cycle batteries are designed to be discharged completely then recharged, Normal car batteries are not able to do this.

Op, you must buy deep cycle batteries.
Also, construction companies do like to leave these led road sign things sitting around, they typically have 6 wet cell deep cycle 6 volt batteries and up to 3 70 watt solar panels merely bolted to them.. Just sayin, stealin is bad mmkay' but that's where I got these.
