>there is literally nothing wrong with owning an overpriced printer
With a $600+ dollar printer, you generally get:
- built-in ABL
- quality power supply
- better logic board and better firmware
- safety features so your house doesn't burn down
- direct drive + quality extruder
- easy upgrade to multifilament
- All Metal Hot End with a quality nozzle
- properly PID tuned heating elements and steppers
- leveled bed that's not warped
- actual support so when the shit fails (and everything fails), you'll get free replacement parts
-QUALITY CONTROL... you'll get a machine that has been tested and does work properly

$600+ machines are for people who don't wanna waste hours of their life on troubleshooting and trying to fix machines made with the cheapest parts that the chinese can make.
if your time has no value, you're poor, or you enjoy working on 3D printers more than actually printing something with them, there's nothing wrong with buying Creality machines.

Same. I'm a noob looking for better prints. I think I saw something I described in one of the blogs about a year ago but back then I didn't have a 3d printer. Or it could have been something to do with CNC... don't know anymore.

Wow! A bit blurry but those overhangs look fucking great! Nice job, anon.
>Only problem I have now is the extruder clicking.
Is is the stepper that's making the sound or the extruder itself? Can you look/listen more closely what's making the noise?
What settings did you change? Did you fuck around with stepper motor settings?

/diy/let here.
I saw this webm on another board a while ago and was wondering how I would make my own?

I own a 3D printer for commercial purposes, but I guess this would need small steppers and some kind of control board?
