Would you recommend it as a work? I'm working tech support for a bank, earning relatively well, about 150-180% of the average pay in Hungary, all at the age of 27. However, I'd much like to get into more handy crafts, which give me way more satisfation, such as repairing electronics, something I already do for friends and family. Now I do wonder how much you work a week and how much you earn relative to others in your social strata and age. Pay is crucial, as I am the only earning person in our family of two currently. Also, the knowledge that your craft will be needed at all times at a steady rate, instead of spikes in the income.

Also, we had a blocking 3 weeks ago that I fixed using something similar instead of calling a plumber to do the dirty work. I was most proud. Gotta work out something for the doorknobs next week.
