Drain screen is plugged. Burning smell is the pump overheating trying to suck water through the blockage.

Upgrade and reinforce your doors and windows and buy a damn gun you donkey. All the homemade "bulletproof" body armour in the world won't save you when someone kicks through your apartment's pressboard door and mag dumps you while you stand there holding a mop handle looking like a retarded fiberglass hobo-knight.

If you don't have a gun license, get one. There is no excuse, and you will not win a firefight if you don't have a gun lol

3rd floor apartment, tiles extremely loud cracking (strange sound) in kitchen. When i walked inside in the previous months the floor shook the table. Same tiles all over the rest of the house, no problem. The Tiles have sort of swollen from below. Other than the tiles detaching from the floor is there any danger of the floor collapsing in the 2nd floor. The building is old and 2nd floor dudes removed the supporting wall to expand their kitchen.

As an EE, just how much do you know of the other fields(Mechanical, Computer Software/Hardware, Chemical, etc)?

Looking to head back to school in a few years for engineering, but not sure what type.

As I feel EE opens a lot of possibilities. But would lack some of the 'make stuff' of say mechanical.

Or the Software/Programming side.
