generally, table saws are a shitty way to break down sheet goods. circular saw and a guide works better until you get down in size a bit.

My suggestion is abandon the top, once it's warped there's really no way to fix it. there's quite a few people who have built circular saw based tablesaws, you already have the trunion mechanism etc, that generally bolts onto the top. all you need to do when you replace the top is make a fence mechanism and add slots/track for the table, and a slot for the blade. A sheet or two of 90lb MDF with a good varnish will be a good base. Easy to smooth too, and no worries about rust.
This may help http://woodgears.ca/homemade_tablesaw/index.html

speaking as someone who is working with a beat to shit contractor saw, that I had to build a frame for when I bought it because the plastic was shredded

>beat to shit tables saw
hahahaha
my tablesaw: bought it and decent electric pressure washer for $30. really only wanted the pressure washer because girlfriend was whining about her backyard fence.

>switch was missing lock toggle, replaced it with the switch from a kilt leaf blower.
>Big red Leaf blower toggle was press fit, screwed a block of wood to the tiny plastic switch behind it when it fell off and disappeared.
>frame of saw was busted, the top would wobble and back corner would drop about 1-2 inches when it was pushed back, all the corners snapped off. built a replacement out of wood and screwed into the (still solid) sides.
>eventually realized the blade slot cover was seriously bent. like 15 degree curve. replaced with a block of wood. took several tries because I had to figure out how to solidly attach it when the place to put screws only had 4mm clearance from tabletop.
