A tip for anyone who has a flip front hood. Flip the lens up to use the hood as a face shield while grinding or chipping slag. Do not be that guy who tries to flick the lens down the moment before you weld. When your welding keep the welding lens down and use a head nod to drop you hood like you would with any passive helmet.
