be prepared to deal with people. some of them can be rather eccentric. and you would be suprised at the living conditions of some people.

if you already have city water, they frown upon well drilling. and its pretty expensive no matter who frowns upon it. also, wells will vary GREATLY from one area to they next. at my house, there is clean drinking water 15 feet under your, well, feet. but iff you drill over 35-40 feet, you hit rusty water. but jut a few miles east, i have seen wells over 100 feet deep that cant get a decent supply. so know your area.

i avoid any chemicals in drains like the plague. they will eat away your pipes. and we hate cleaning drains after people have used these chemicals, because they are so potent, they will rust our drain cleaner after we clean a drain with that stuff in it.

the ONLY exception is copper sulfate. and copper sulfate will only work to kill tree roots. it clogs the roots from getting water, and they die. but it wont kill your tree. best if used before bedtime, when it can sit in the sewer overnight.
