I'm not so sure about using kickstarter, it seems like it gets used for scams a lot (ask /v/), plus the guy I know already has connections with manufacturers.

Absolutely. Gonna have a control panel for HVAC and such, throw some hoses in there, etc. Personals locker is an excellent idea; I can put repair tools (for actually repairing stuff in the box) in there, etc.

I was actually gonna put an ejection seat handle in as part of the game... I'm still trying to find a suitable switch/button/whatever for it.
