Typhoons and rainstorms have caused me to give up on woodworking for outdoor items.
We had a storm come in yesterday. Everything is beat to shit, barely anything survived. The fucking paint+primer I had on the wood for 2 years was stripped bare like it was never painted.

What alternative materials can I use? And how can I learn to join and work them?
I was thinking metal extrusion and beams. Weldeding and bolting pieces together could (hopefully) prove more durable.
