Yea, CCS
Here's a screencap from when I asked for help.
Program was for IR codes.
(Problem was solved by dividing first because it was overflowing int)

Hey OP,
I'm experienced in electronics and thought about getting into arduino for years. I finally gave the MSP430 a try after stumbling into it for $4.30 delivered. It's been good C programming experience for me and I'd recommend it. I think it's like $10 now for everything you need to get started. Comes with Code Composer Studio, based on eclipse.

About the only thing I don't like about it is the 1.8? - 3.3 Volt supply. An inconvenience for breadboarding but will come in handy if I ever want to power a project with batteries.
It also lacks the arduino community, which is fine with me, I'd rather program from the ground up anyway.

pic related. It's from when I asked /g/ for help with a programming problem I had when programming IR remote codes.
