sup /diy/ been making some kickass pcb schematics, and i cant decide on two things

1.should i use a red, green and blue led seperately, or get an all in one rgb smd package (not sure what the size difference would be really which is why i ask)

2. since im populating these boards by hand should I go with an smd or dip AVR chip? ( im torn as i love dip but idk if it would scream production quality or not, and i might try to sell a few)

Sup diy, want to get an idea of what i should use as a heat tolerant material that cant take about 400 farenheight (205 c) and is fairly workable, was thinking about wood as its flash point is like 580, but i wasn't sure of the possibility of a smolder , thoughts?
