my sister has a guitar, she loves to play in the street, but i have seen that its hard to keep a eye on all her stuff while she plays.
some dude stole her hard guitar case 2 weeks ago
so i had the idea of building her a guitar case / amp for christmas
she is into metal so the coffin shape was a no brainer

Here are the angles that make up the generic coffin shape. All you have to do is scale this doodle up to the size of your bass. A miter saw would be your best bet when it comes to cutting those angles. You could cut them on a table saw, but the longer pieces are going to be a bit unruly unless you have a sled.

I'd suggest using plywood.
