My gutters are shit and causing my wood soffitts to slowly absorb water and rot. It's been on my radar since the Fall. I need to fix it all, but I just can't pull myself together to do it. I think it's going to be bad, but it's only getting worse. I feel so degenerate.
We also need a new roof($6K) and 2 massive oak trees cut down($3k). I'm holding out to have the roofers do that and put new gutters on. There'd go every extra penny I'd earn this year as opposed to paying off the mortgage early. If I didn't have a family, I'd aspire to living in a van. Real estate is a scam and a lie.
