I had to do this in the 5th grade, but I fucked up.
>teacher told us that he was going to drop the eggs from the roof of the school, and we needed to make something to "catch" them.
>Gives us like 2 days to do make something.
>Decide to just make a paper basket wide enough to catch it and with enough give to prevent it from breaking
>Everyone else is making something padded. Whatever, I guess if it works...
>Not until 10 minutes before the drop did anyone point out to me that we were supposed to have made a vessel for the egg to be dropped in.
>Female partner was too shy to speak up at my retardation
>She ends up just cramming the egg into a plastic cup with cotton balls and paper towels
>Don't even remember paying attention to the actual dropping of my egg
>Feel like a literal retard.
I guess it's on me for not looking at what everyone else was doing, but the dude explicitly said "catch the egg". I took his phrasing way too literally and felt fucking stupid. Still bothers me and that was 17 years ago.

Just ordered my first printer, an Anet a8 kit. I am so excited to get chinked and put my fist through a wall.
