I had new sod put in.

But Raccoons are coming every night to roll it up to eat the bugs underneath.

This is driving me nuts.

I bought a pellet gun, but they seem to know whenever I'm awake, so I rarely see them in the act. When I do see them, non of my shots were effective, and they just run away.

I started laying chicken wire on my lawn. But I realized the 4 inch lawn staples used to pin it down are easily pulled up.

Not really sure what to do anymore. Maybe put up an electric fence, but that's going overkill.
