Does anyone have suggestions for a decent, compact, water resistant mobile radio that does ~20-25W output on 2m/70cm (a monoband 2m would be fine too)? I want something I can toss in a backpack and take with me when I go camping or hiking that I could run off of a LiFePo4 battery. If it can do low power at 5W that'd be nice too. I was looking at this TYT TH-8600 but I'm worried that it's just a Baofeng in a mobile radio chassis.
