so it finally dawned to me that my south facing room could be cooled down if I covered the windows with aluminum foil (the shiny side), and after jewgling and jewtubing a bit it allegedly works. however my old double glazed windows have heavy communist blinds on the outside which means that blinders will have to be up all the time. they are probably the main reason behind overheating, but I wanted to know if it's gonna be a problem if the blins stay up all the time before I stick a bunch of foil everywhere. another thing is sound isolation from the outside which is soon gonna be my nigger neighbor's ac unit and the blinds somewhat help reduce it. so any advice on sound isolation is welcome.
