so took me a bit here, you think I am making battery packs? no I just make adapters to fit battery packs to tools (like you).

Although I do have a spot welder I built using a starter solenoid, timer relay board from ebay and a car battery. the electrodes I machined out of brass and copper nails. IT works pretty good, and can weld at least 1/16 inch metal.

I'm sure you have built a better one though.

yes it does and also under load most tools only draw around 20 amps. stall amp draw is a different thing altogether. either way these adapters can handle them and if you panties are in a not you can always put in your own temperature switch, fuse, or circuit breaker.
