i love my Milwaukee stuff but i had to start from fresh id go Makita, they have a better selection of outdoor power equipment and their dual battery 36 volt tools are really powerful and can do a lot without changing battery platforms. plus they are the one one that make a brushless impact hammer drill driver (pic related), which i would love to have to play around with.

Makita probably has the best selection of tools compared to other brands all running off of their 18v batteries. besides a full lineup of power tools and specialty industrial tools they also have a full line of outdoor power equipment, dual battery 36v tools and really weird stuff like bicycles, robot vacuums and battery powered wheel barrels.
