>Be me. Newly divorced
>rent town home since ex took half, and they gave her home in exchange for me to keep my full pension.
>town home nice and comfy but a bit depressed so I just work/sleep/eat/shit.
>start to feel better/time heals all wounds.
>notice some repairs needed in town-home rental.
>call up manager:
>window blinds missing one panel, faulty kitchen disposal, and some slow drains.
>plumber: male, fixed drains, replace disposal. Perfect.
>manager hires "woke" fat white lesbian couple/ GC to fix blinds.
>instead of installing blade they measure the blinds and "order whole device".
>Cheap blind arrives.
>Lesbians GC couple come back to replace the blind.
>They measured wrong, and blinds are too long, hits the floor.
>I tell them, its fine, just order the right size.
>they proceed to not do that and instead start to cut the blades
>note sure if I should protest, bit meek since I was destroyed in court from divorce.

>Lesbians GC proceed to cut the blade, but not square, slightly off.
>since the blades hang vertically, the sloppy cuts cause the blinds to hang at a slight angle, but I didn't notice until next morning.
>I let it go, since I was having my kids visit my "new home".

I should have called up and complained but I was so beaten by the divorce system that I didn't want to fight anything for a while. I did mention it to the manager recently, and they want to keep me as a renter for a while so they might give me new appliances and replace the blinds. We'll see.

tldr: divorce sucks the energy and money from you. Women general contractors are terrible.
