The 3gal was $60 with hose and fittings and a blow gun and air chuck, all that I wanted it for. A 6gal with good cfm was $99, but then I would need to spend another ~$40 on the other shit, and I didn’t want to spend $150 at the moment if I was going to get a bigger one in the future. At least now I have a better line and good tire inflator so I can get away with just the cost of the tank.

There’s a couple 120V Northstars and IRs for <$500. Pic related is tempting, it’s only 8gal but it has a good motor (4CFM @ 90psi) and would fit real nice in the garage, has a 4yr warranty too. Also the NT manager gave me a coupon for $50 off $250. I was going to grab one of those blue 21gal compressors from HF based on just the numbers, but then I saw the build quality of these NorthStars and the IRs and it’s night and day for the extra $100-$200.
