Glad to know i am not the only one like that. We seem to be that kind of people who don't care about the final result and only care about the learning process, how to do something you know nothing about.
Which is why I also love modeling in LTSpice. Too lazy to build anything since I need to remember where my parts are and the initial hurdle of setting things up is such an effort I just give up and draw schematics in Spice. If at all. I've recently resumed learning some random math and it is almost a perfect hobby: it is a continuous learning process, you ALWAYS learn something new, there are no milestones, no tests to take so no stress and you can skip difficult parts to feel better about yourself and only concentrate on stuff you like to maximize dopamine release lol. And the best part, you can sit on your ass all day long and everything you need is in your laptop. A huge downside is when you are stuck you can get frustrated and even somewhat depressed but when it finally clicks and you feel like a fucking genius, you can't explain it to anyone around you. And talking math online can be tricky. Autistic posters misunderstand each other and sperg out all the time.
