I just ended up toe nailing both sides of the stud on the end... And then toe nailed the one accessible side of the inner stud. Seems fine. Done for the day...

The big side will have a pull down ramp to enter the end. Mower, shovels, string trimmers etc. The small side will basically be a ventilated cabinet for gas cans and the like. Not yet sure how to frame those... But the way my back and forearms feel I think I have a week to figure it out.
