And with flux I specifically mean **ROSIN**, not some low tier synthetic garbage that they call "flux" nowadays. All you need is ROSIN (colophony), it's literally just resin that leaks from coniferous trees. It's literally fucking free if you just go into a conifer forest and collect it. You can also dissolve it in isopropyl alcohol to make liquid rosin, or dissolve it in less alcohol to make a sort of paste and it works really well. Don't fall for the synthetic flux jew, return to tradition.

I bought a 1kg bag of purified rosin that will last me probably a lifetime of soldering.
