Is carpentry still a good field to get into?

I like building things, architecture, and hands on work but can't find any apprenticeships and I'm worried that dropping out of college may be a bad decision.

Plus one day I'd love to get into house flipping and it seems doing something like carpentry and being a owner of a team would be beneficial.
