We've only one bathroom and exactly one toilet at our parent's house. The size of the toilet bowl is not the problem, but the diameter of the pipe. Now that my siblings and I are adults, whenever me or one of my older brothers "lays a snake" in the morning (if you know what I mean), the pipe gets clogged and the smell is beastly, especially if you have to take a morning shower. Today, our father got angry about the situation and we decided to grant him the privilege to use the toilet first. However, I'm curious if the Americans on this board know a solution to our "big issue". We've already tried to spray the snakes with hot water from the shower head but it didn't help (especially with the longer snakes). We're looking for a way to optimize the iteration of the pipe, without any physical alterations to the structure. Any help is appreciated.
