Those are the only budgeting info's I have, I have this one on making Ramen noodles taste good rather then like shit. I guess its sort of budgeting, the noodles are cheap right?

So, dear /diy/, I'm moving in the next few days to another town and going to live with a friend in university (I'm starting the first year of Chemistry majors, and he is currently in the second year of Statistics). I'm looking for any tips for cooking, maintenance, dressing properly, and also, general stuff to make my home a better place. Hope you guys can help; thanks in advance.

Not trying to make a begging/pity me thread, just a info thread

But recently I had some debt collectors take $700 out of my pay check. My own fault, I wasn't paying it off like I should have. I know it doesn't sound like alot but I get paid $1k only on the 1st and 15th.

But this basically fucked up my whole pay period. I have no money for my other bills or groceries so next paycheck is going all to bills then the next next paycheck will go to groceries.

My wife hasn't been eating to save food and has been trying to make everything last to get through the next month.

I'm looking for some infographics that deal with anything that has to do with saving money like

>cooking with cheap ingredients
>cleaning with everyday items
>coupons or anything on how to do extreme coupon shit
>how to save money in general

You don't need to worry about buying vegetables if you buy potatoes, and lots of them.

They may be super fatty (carbs or whatever) but humans can live full healthy lives literally on nothing but potatoes and meat.

Also, top ramen, get lots of that. It is super cheap, and you can create many kinds of soup from it. I love to chop up vegetables, meat, mushrooms, and a little bit of garlic and italian seasonings. Best chicken noodle soup ever!

Rice is good to, you can buy a lot of that stuff, and depending on what you do with it, it can go with just about anything.
