Flat roofer here, anyone else with kind of shitty jobs (although admittedly I am paid extremely adequately for how low the barrier to entry is)? Everyone here can't be an electrician

Although I'll take roofing any day over when I was 18 removing old septic tanks for a construction company. Easily the worst summer of my life. Got paid fuckall too ($12/hr, which is nothing here in Canada), and could pretty much always taste shit in my mouth.

Pic related, the section were doing today (no I did not cut out that curb before anyone mentions the butcher job on it). Also, normally we don't tie up our stripping like that with string, but the masons have to come cut in scuppers so we couldn't glue the wall up, but wanted to get the membrane welded to the perimeter plates (it looks stupid af, but kept it out of our way so I guess it's not that stupid)
