Is Kapton tape supposed to reek of ammonia / piss? It's giving me nausea after two minutes of unpacking the tape.

Need a real quick answer:
Does Kapton Tape have a very sharp ammonia like smell or did I just get fucked over? Got my first ever roll(s) of Kapton tape from amazon so I have no true reference. Just opened it and it stinks like the central station of my city (piss) to high heavens, I literally cannot bear the smell.
