Form follows function. Those are bad designs functionally inferior to the ones you could find in the bargain bin at Walmart. Figure out what a tool is supposed to do, use that to select materials and ergonomics, and THEN figure out what it should look like. If you want to continue this discussion, I assign you the task of identifying three functional deficiencies of that hammer. There are more than that, and I'll even give a pic of a proper hammer, so it should be easy.
