Former yardworker here. The pay was good, and yeah we worked our asses off. The summer I worked as a load puller was the hardest I ever worked in my life, but I was also in the best shape of my life so it kinda paid off.

I miss the profit sharing big time. The last one I got was $1200 - really, really good stuff for part time retail work
