I see the last thread 404'd, so here's an update for all the naysayers, debbie downers, and generator haters. I just completed a 6 mile tour and it works amazing, putting in 84 Watts as I gently assist my ride, keeping the battery around par. I pushed it on the way back, realize that I have a 350 watt motor so the charger will never keep up, but overall I'm pleased, and I'm continuing with my sound box build (for ultimate park & community stealth).

Also, riding with this thing on my bum gave me a gentle massage and it really does run like a little hummingbird, hardly noticeable among the background noises in a bustling community.
