No, it is because I have had terrible experience with round heads.

I know that an SK would never fail unless you were doing something incredibly stupid, but I just can’t trust the round heads since I have never had even a cheap pear head fail on me, but every cheap round head falls apart under moderate use. There’s a sweet double pawl Wright round head but I don’t think I would ever buy it over a similar price Proto or something.

And I’ll take the Williams sealed ratchets. Also SK has a new pear head that is real nice and expensive as fuck, but I believe right now they only sell it in a standard length 3/8” drive.
