Google pics of the Subaru STI oil filter, I think that’s the one with the exhaust manifolds running all round it. Imagine trying to get a strap wrench around that when the car is hot. You could try and awkwardly grab it with the Channellock style filter pliers, but the only good wag is with those big socket cups that only fit one size of filter or pic related which works on damn near everything.
