I feel like its a trend thing. A trend that is ugly as fuck. Like fuckin shiplap, burn wood, shelves made from lead paint doors, etc. Wish I could fine the rest of the pics for after they "redid" my grandmas house. When I seen it posted for the first time it was on Facebook and I died a little bit on the inside. My current apartment is kinda like that, a trend style. Light grey walls, fake wooden looking floors, light color trim, etc. I think it's not too bad, but meh, greys fuck with me.

In a near by town there was a house for sale that someone did almost all the rooms in barn wood from wall to ceiling. There is an apartment building in my town that is nasty and depressing on the inside. They "updated it" but it was only paint to that only made the rooms more brighter. They are cheap units for scummy ass people, pedos, and druggies pretty much.

Now I just found this image (pic related) and What The Fuck was the person thinking when installing this light.
