/diy/ - Do It Yourself

Hello /diy/ - I have a brick house with drips of white paint all over the front - the paint drips are oil based, ive tried using dabs of paint thinner, mineral spirits, muriatic acid - and tried mechanical removal with a wire brush and my power washer with little to no success - any pointers / tips are appreciated. I'm afraid of damaging the brick / mortar if i use a power washer or wire brush.. but not opposed to doing so if its my only option. thanks!
