Yep, that was my thought too, I'll give KiCad a shot. I could not really find an option like that in FreePCB and tutorials seem to be nonexistent.

Yep exactly! Otherwise I'd do toner transfer method or UV resist method.

I'm going to be doing that for a few other prominently displayed boards that have a very hand drawn 1970's look, and for that Illustrator is going to work just fine.

Thanks guise.

I say, you did indeed beat me. Good Job Jenkins. Now be quiet as I fuck your girlfriend, or lose your job.

You are a smart one huh...

Sucks for you that you are going to pay that much more and get an inferior product out of it, but to each their own.

Cheers

What is the least expensive tool I can use to put holes through some seashells?

I am trying to teach some non-USA non-christian kids about Christmas (just keeping it simple- they don't even know world religions so christmas is just the most obvious thing to teach) and want to do an ornament-making activity. I already have a ton of seashells and would rather just put some ribbons through them and let the kids put glitter on them etc. This is a non-christian nation so there aren't blank ornaments for coloring at every store.

Plus the kids know I came from a beach town so something more "local" to me will pique their interest.

Anyway yeah, I just need to get some holes through these shells. I don't really want to spend 70$ to do a Christmas activity with the kids, much as I love em.

I like it. A lot. But I'm sure you'll get some shitty comments. I would keep it the way it is and just clearcoat it. A more ordinary fence would be attained by staining it darker and thus making the colour differences in the wood less noticeable.

Lel. I did exactly the same thing for years. A hat tip to you, anon.

Let's talk a little about prudent finances.

I have 700 dollars. What do you think is the wisest way to use this money, under the assumption that my basic and luxury needs are already met? Any suggestions or project ideas are welcome.

Please feel free to use this thread for your own monetary questions as well.
