I need to cut off a piece of steal that is about 1/8th inch thick.

i was thinking of attempting to use a mini stone grinding bit, and also a circular wheel, both on a hand held dremel tool. i have little fair in this actually working.

what ideas do u have?

pic related it the small pieces of steal that hold the wires for the shifters and derailures.
