I'm renting a room and the ceiling fan has 4 lights, similar to pic related. The light has always been too bright for me, and I just now got the grand idea to simply remove 3 of the 4 bulbs.
I'm sure this is safe to do, but will this damage the empty sockets at all? I'm not even sure if they're called sockets. I just don't want to have to pay for any damage, if when I move out the empty sockets no longer work when the bulbs are re-inserted.
