Hello /diy/.

This is my first time posting on this board.
I want to take up metalworking as a hobby, mostly making knives but also for shaping scrap metal. So how would I go about building a forge? Preferably cheaply, but if quality becomes an issue I would be willing to spend a little extra. In addition, I have no actual experience
but have read thoroughly on the topic. All advice is welcome.

These knives would not be intended weapons, as rule #3 prohibits, but tools.
