>cave in and buy 50dollar piece of plastic bluetooth module for traxxas controller
>spend 20min connecting
>get it connected
>forced update
>finally done
>adjust the settings i wanted
>start the car
>it runs away on its own
>thanks to quick thinking I know what it is and I stop it before it wrecks anything
>apparently firmware update reset the 70/30 throttle back to 50/50
>reprogram it back to 70/30
>works
>test settings and they work
>redo settings
>start car back up
>won't respond to transmitter
>default settings
>still doesn't work

Probably caught around 35 mosquito bites during that whole thing.

Not pleased.
