It was really simple, but I did a thing for my old high school fencing team. For meets, individual strips need to be measured out and marked off with tape, which is time consuming and generally a pain in the ass. What I did was basically make a jig for marking the strips, which are 1.5x14m. I cut a 10' length of 1" schd 40 in half and drilled 3/8" holes in the end of each to thread cord through. I spent most of the time measuring the rope, or rather, making a device to do so, based off of something I saw on Instructables using a measuring wheel.

Don't have any pictures now, but there really isn't too much to see. Basically pipes and rope. I've also been helping with weapon and equipment maintenance, which is kind of tricky to start, but gets easier as long as you can deal with very small components.

There are a few projects I really want to get started on, but I've been kind of swamped with work, family, and fencing. First I need to make a table or shelf for my computer, so it can get off the floor and allow for better cable management, then I have to do an engraving for a buddy, and after that I would like to make a little coffee can forge and experiment a bit with smithing. Ongoing projects are cider and mead fermentation and mushroom cultivation. Have even more ideas for the spring, but I really need to just focus and finish one thing at a time.
