Or get down on some 12v tools. Pic related has pretty much replaced screwdrivers for me.

They have that new Bauer 4v screwdriver at HF for like $20, I thought about grabbing one just to try it. But I’m not sure if the battery comes out like the DeWalt, I think it’s built into it so if you’re running low on charge, you gotta plug it in rather than swapping the battery pack.

And I like the hex shanks because I hate when bits slip in the chuck, but I don’t understand why anybody would willingly use an impact to drill holes. I guess if it’s the only thing available... that was my thinking when I got that Shockwave set with the drill bits. But it was mostly so I could grab one bit case if I needed to go help old lady down the street hang some new blinds or shelving unit. I think if I had to drill + drive with one tool, I would grab a drill over an impact.
