Why not get the gallon sized baggie and put all of the same type in one bag? I have about 6 kinds of USB cables and it's easier to just pile all of one type in the same bag. I have about 20 of the "original" USB (pic related) and they all fit in one bag.

And your coiling method seems cool, but I have a pile of twist ties that I prefer.
