I made a 6m moxon a few weeks back and it's on a rotatable 30ft mast.
So far so good - and conditions have been great - however I can't help but feel the radiation pattern is backwards, which sounds insane.
I have the main spacing of the 2 elements pointed to Alaska, but today I heard Brazil and Venezuela for the first time from the rear of the moxon ... and I worked them! Canada and Alaska are missing in action.
Does it matter which side the ground and radiating elements are? Would that change the polarization?
There is also the solar trans-equatorial activity to account for - to what degree whether the sun or antenna are to account, I wouldn't know where to comprehend.

>its super complicated
No, it's a deception. McMansions are an optical illusion where 40% of the length is the garage.

What are your favorite pre-programmed HF frequencies?
Thinking of adding a few common nets and commonly used DX locations.
