hi guys,

im preparing to embark on a cross country road trip,
was looking for ideas to prep my car for maximum security and comfort while im out on the road for the next month or so

so far ive been thinking of disabling the button in my front seat that opens my trunk as most of my valuables will be stashed there..

also thinking about adding a chain and lock to keep people from going into the back seat through the front of the car incase of broken window .

besides that im thinking of bringing in or making custom made padding for the back seat in case i need to do some sleeping ...

also maybe window tint for privacy on the back windows

any suggestions or comments welcomed,
anyone have tips for a long road trip prep?

I Lol'd. I don't own a drill press, but I'm certain I'd do the same, if I weren't to use a scrap piece of wood every time.

Does /diy/ have any interesting guides or ideas for making rafts?
