None of that has anything at all to do with what I said? About the voltages, duh of course everyone knows that, are you just mad I said "20v" somewhere in there? And by the same token, "12v" marketed power tools are all 10.8v.

Brushless corded tools are cool, but I didn't say anything about brushes and Hikoki isn't the only company that makes them? What's unique about their 36v system is that it has a COTS pathway to running battery or mains power, nothing to do with the motor directly.

So again, what the fuck are you on about?

I got a free grill and some cheap propane tanks. Problem is the guy ripped me off on the tanks, one that was supposed to be 3/4 full is empty, the other has a visibly cracked seal. I've removed the cracked piece of shit seal after verifying it leaks. I'll be wire brushing the brass to clean up the rest of the rubber and then putting back my own seal from the bits bins. I don't have a question. Wish me luck.

>what's the best method for rigging a backdrop to a curtain rod
steal your mom's curtain hooks. or make some out of old hangers. it's literally what they are for, it's basically upside down J and you hang it right on the rod over the existing curtain. you could even make extended Js so each has a 2'2" long handle you can use to place them at 10', assuming your not a manlet. you can just put a simpler version of a curtain side hook through a hole for each one, you don't have to have the fancy clip and pocket. use a grommet or sew around the hole, bend hanger as appropriate.

I am in Italy, very few ppl build diy systems here worth anything.
This is 3 phase power + 1 spare, i can also put the spare one to work in one of the 3 phases too for a 1 + 1 + 2 configuration.
I have 48kwh of diy lifepo4 + 15kwh of 3x 'orient power' server rack batteries (another clone of the jakiper battery)
I have 16.43 kwp of solar but i will reach 19.85 kwp as soon i have time to install the last panels. In Shitaly law you can not put more than 20kwp in an off grid system.
This warehouse has a galvanized sheet metal covering the whole roof. I pray it will resist a big fart from the sun.

You can get a junkyard door and get it sprayed and installed by a bodyshop for a couple hundred dollars. This is usually the most economical option.
Picrel is an example of shitty bodywork. There was a dent below the belt molding, they masked the molding off, did the bodywork and painted it, and didn't seal the edge of the repair, so water eventually got in there and caused the bondo to peel off.
The mold growing above the molding indicates that the owner never washes the car, the mold holds the moisture in there also.

use your truck and pay the dump fee like a man

t. my neighbor gets one of those giant ikea bag dumpsters every other month it's $159 for the bag, $200 to pick up taking the same load to the dump is $70 and that's assuming you can't get some craigslist junky to take it for scrap

They are worth the $80 tho. Klein linemans suck dick. Too tight and they will lock up if you beat them too hard or get them wet. Knipex are loose like a sissies bussy right out of the box and stay that way.

Corded circular saws aren't much different from cordless these days, especially brushless. They're just louder. They use that to their benefit because retards think a louder tool is a better tool.

I need to hang a backdrop for a projector onto a preexisting curtain rod. The existing curtain is black, so I need to hang material in front of it. I don't have the backdrop yet, so I'm not limited in that regard. The main issue is that this curtain rod is about 10' off the ground. There's no ladder at this venue, and I would need to rent a vehicle to be able to haul a ladder of my own. Your question, if you choose to accept it, is: what's the best method for rigging a backdrop to a curtain rod that's 10' off the ground without using a ladder, a drone, a trebuchet, a falcon, grappling hooks, etc

That's a good thought, shouldn't be hard. I may have a piece of scrap that'll work, otherwise I'll just spend the extra $2.

Might want to add some racking resistance or you’ll have a bad time. A single cross brass works wonders

I wanted to make a combo shampoo that includes Coal Tar and Selenium Sulfide for psoriasis/dandruff, since the off-the-shelf options only include one or the other and the dosage is rather low. Looked up the ingredients through sigma and it should be simple to purchase and mix, but keeping the ingredients in suspension might be tricky. Emulsions that I've made in the past were either too liquid and separated, or were such a gel that it started to get chunky. If anyone knows how to stabilize DMSO for safe topical use, I'm looking for papers.

I already make salves for itching with menthol, camphor, lidocaine and colloidal silver with hydrolyzed cornstarch (thick-it) as a base, and those have suited me fairly well. Actual cleansers are tricky because soaps break-up pre-bought micelle suspensions.
