Test bump

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

lol, what the fuck kind of autist are you?

> You test every single part you use to make sure it is in specification and working correctly before using it in your final project.

You're in a habit of storing your components off their ESD safe blocks they ship on then? Do you just litter them around your workshop?

> Spoken like someone still in high school. Get a job and you'll learn that your time is utterly worthless.

Stop projecting. Just because you're unable to capitalize on your time doesn't mean we all are.

Fucking nice though. We have rodents and have brought a bunch of poison, yet can't bring ourselves to lay it out. Humane as fuck/10, will be deploying ASAP.

How do you figure? Wouldn't this introduce hum as the circuit is not tied to the same ground as the amp or does the ground line of the instrument lead serve this purpose?

Some of us like to do things from the ground up to gain a deeper understanding of the process. We like to fuck with mixtures, compositions and ratios, in doing so we gain more knowledge of the process than lazy unmotivated cunts like you will ever have.

Fuck off back to /g/ buyfag.

I dunno, there are dedicated SMPS controller chips out there, coding up a uC to run the thing seems a little cheap. Don't get me wrong, a uC is perfect for monitoring and actioning user interface changes and running displays, but wrapping the core of the power section around a uC feels a bit like buying a blade screwdriver to use as a chisel. Sure the screwdriver is cheaper, more accessible and will do the job with a bit of sharpening, but it won't do it as well as a chisel.

Having said that, I have only ever built linear supplies, but precision seems like an important factor in SMPSU's.

No, but there is a massive difference between opening an ESD bag, installing a DIMM, and running a memory to verify the fix test versus creating a new design, prototyping it, modifying the design to correct errors in the prototype, then creating a mechanism which did not exist until you brained it out into a real world object.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but I do breakfix as well, and even I can see the distinction.

I'ma give this a bump, because this is relevant to my interests, plus I didn't even know these fuckers existed. Need to google me's up some more intel.

> Take the parts to a powder coating place.
Honestly I wouldn't want to impose, and besides, I'm not planning on a few once off jobs, so they would likely get sick of my shit. I currently enamel parts I make but if I had access to an cheap and decent way to coat parts, I would be all over it like filth on a hippy.

Anon definitely needs to speak up if he has had experience with these.

>There's people that show up with totally destroyed machines (think holes in the engine block)
I had a walk behind blower that threw a rod straight through the case, the cylinder and piston were still good so I tossed on a new rod and used JB weld putty on the hole. It held for a year before we got rid of it. Holes dont always mean its destroyed

I recommend checking the oil to see if its milky, if it is you would need to replace it

Does gas come in when the float is in its down position, if it doesnt the needle/gas inlet is clogged. if it does the jet is clogged, thats the tube that comes down in the middle of the float. Either stick a thin strong piece of wire through it (a thin paperclip or sewing needle might work, I use wire from bike brake cables) or blow in it. You should be able to see a pinhole looking up from the bottom

Is that so? Pic related.

>>625765
>and incase people are wondering why you need 300 different pencils in a giant pack
It's totally up to the artist how many colours they use. Yeah some do literally have hundreds, but others will use like 30-60.

>try making black from yellow, blue and red paint sometime
You *can* actually do this with the right choice of paints.

It's easier tho with the true primaries: yellow, cyan and magenta.

Yeah that makes sense, my gf and I are currently working with that very thing looking for a new place to live and we're more than willing to pay it as a reassurance for the landlord.

But OP's 1000 per year thing, that's pants-on-head stupid.

Maybe just a series of boxes with a string on the inside and a small electric motor. You move one finger, it closes the circuit and the motor activates, shortening the string and curling the fingers.
