Why is this thread so full of retards lol

They do make a 1 inch, it's not on the market yet, it was announced late last year.
They make a 3/4 but it's the exact same gun as the 1/2 but with a bigger anvil.
God damn retard lmao

It will loosen a 1400ft lb nut, it takes less than 1400 ft lb to remove a fastener that's torqued to 1400.
This is a fact.

I can comprehend why it's good obviously, I'm just saying it's not really necessary.
I think they just did it as marketing 2bh, same reason homeboy here is sperging out over 18 vs 20

I understand that, I do a shitload of electronics work, I undertand wire ampacity and reaistive losses, but it's not that big of a deal, you can deliver enough power easily through the 18v system.
I've never ever seen a burned up electrical contact where the battery plugs into the tool, and that's exactly where it would burn up under max load if it were going to.

Also lmao for dewalt niggering a loophole like that, its still a 160watt hour battery no matter how you label it.

The draw on these batteries isnt high enough to justify needing higher voltage, it really makes no difference.
What the fuck are you talking about getting around shipping large batteries lol
You have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
There is a watt hour limit batteries, it doesn't matter what the voltage is, the watt hour capacity is all that matters, voltage is irrelevant.
>>1557248
Congrats on being low iq and falling for dumbass marketing
18 and 20v batteries are literally the exact same thing, zero differences.

18 volts is the nominal voltage of a 5 cell series lithium pack, 20 volts is the same battery but they are advertising the fully charged voltage instead of the nominal voltage.
Basically you're retarded.

>put all batteries in series
>the voltage is higher so it's better now
It's still the same overall power, just configured differently

That would be a no.
You literally need both of those exact things.

Sounds like you're asspained that Milwaukee tools are the best objectively and cost the least when you wasted money on an inferior product.

Milwaukee is the only power tool brand that fully embraces mechanics and tools geared towards them.
Every other brand skirts around automotive but Milwaukee is the only major power tool company that has that field completely under lock

Actual welder/fabricator here, you can't really use flux or stick weld for thin metal, it's always gonna be total dog shit.
Both processes are more for industrial use like building gantry and mezzanines.
Thin metal you need mig or tig.

Go weld up some aluminum intercooler tubing with a spool gun and get back to me.
The 300 dollars youd spend on a spool gun setup should be invested toward an alphatig or a primeweld 225 or similar ac/dc tig machine so you can actually get decent welds.
Spool guns are for production environments not automotive fabrication in your garage.
